Our San Luis Chiropractic clinic offers non-invasive saliva laboratory testing to assess specific hormone levels and offer a plan to restore balance to your system. These tests have been shown to be very sensitive and specific and aid us in rebalancing your body chemistry. These tests have become powerful tools in evaluating a patient’s stress and sleep related problems, male/female hormone related complaints, gastrointestinal dysfunction, and overall health.
Dr. Dubrul’s individualized protocols for restoring a person’s health are based on the teachings of Dr. Janet Lang, who founded Restorative Endocrinology™, with the philosophy that restoring a person’s endocrine (hormone) system requires that the body be supplied with all of the necessary nutrients for optimal function. By addressing and correcting any imbalances within the digestion, immune system, adrenal and thyroid functions, Dr. Dubrul is able to provide a plan that includes whole food nutrition, lifestyle wellness counseling, and high quality herbal supplements.
More common saliva panels include:
Adrenal Stress Index Panel®
The adrenal glands are often overworked and overlooked. This is a comprehensive panel to determine the health and status of the adrenal glands and other steroidal hormones.
Food Intolerance Panel®
The road to health and happiness begins in the intestinal tract, where 70% of one’s immune system resides. This panel can provide valuable information as to whether one has a food allergy or intolerance to soy, gluten, dairy or eggs.
Expanded Gastrointestinal Health Panel®
This comprehensive stool and saliva panel will reveal hidden fungal, bacterial, and parasitic infections. It also includes food intolerance antibody tests for four common problem foods: soy, gluten, egg, and dairy, and checks enzyme and immuno-markers.
Female Hormone Panel® (FHP)
This is a panel where we collect 11 saliva samples over the course of a female’s menstrual cycle. It is helpful in assessing irregular periods, migraine headaches, painful or heavy periods, and premenstrual stress.
Male Hormone Panel® (MHP)
This is a comprehensive male hormone analysis for the middle-aged male who notices a decrease in energy, muscle mass, strength, and libido.
